Website Accessibility

Know Your Vote T.O. is meant to work for every visitor, including people using screen readers, keyboards, switch devices, magnification, voice control, and translation tools.

We built and tested this site against WCAG 2.2, Level AA. Ontario law requires WCAG 2.0 Level AA (AODA, O. Reg. 191/11, s. 14). We build to the newer standard.

Candidate profiles are added and updated through to mid-October, so we test as we go. Our accessibility report sets out what we have tested, what we found, and what is still outstanding.

Two things we do not control: documents published by other organizations that we link to, and automatic translation, which is machine-generated and not reviewed by our team.

You do not need to know what the technical problem is. The page you were on and what you were trying to do is enough.
